The project started with a simple, genuine motivation: bringing nostalgic pen-and-paper games we grew up playing—like the classic FLAMES game—into a modern, responsive, and privacy-respecting digital experience. Many relationship calculator sites on the internet are cluttered with deceptive accuracy guarantees, intrusive popups, and forced logins. Lovezey was built to be different: completely free, privacy-first, requiring no accounts, and always honest about how every result is calculated.
How Each Tool Works (Honestly)
FLAMES Calculator
FLAMES is a classic pen-and-paper game from schools across South Asia. The algorithm works by counting the letters in two names, removing shared letters, and repeatedly cycling through the word F-L-A-M-E-S until one letter remains. The result (Friends, Lovers, Affection, Marriage, Enemies, Siblings) is determined purely by arithmetic — it is a fun game, not a real prediction.
Love Calculator
The Love Calculator assigns numeric values to letters in both names (similar to Pythagorean numerology) and computes a compatibility score based on character frequency ratios and vowel-consonant patterns. An AI model then generates a personalised, creative summary for the result. The score is for entertainment only and has no scientific basis.
Zodiac Compatibility
This tool uses a pre-defined Western astrology compatibility matrix that cross-references the four classical elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) and the three modalities (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable).
